    1867: 2 r. green, a fine example used on 1873 cover to Paris, cancelled by manuscript pen stroke and mailed via British P.O. in Panama with three line dated 'Panama / Transit' in black (May 13) on front and thence via London where Accountancy marking 'GB / 1F 90c.' in black applied. Handstruck '15' décimes charge marking below. Docketing of receipt in manuscript and reply on front, reverse with Paris cds (June 13) in black. A scarce and attractive first issue cover.
