    'Affranchissement de Fortune': Laureated 20 c. blue, vertically bisected example used on 1871 local rural cover to a Justice of the Peace in Juniville, Ardennes neatly tied by 'Juniville / (7)' datestamp of despatch (April 3) in black with 'OR' (Origin Rurale) handstamp at right. A spectacular and extremely rare cover in the foremost quality and of impeccable provenance. Illustrated in the Yvert Encyclopaedia on page 160. Unique. Cert. Calves (1976) Maury = € 100'000/Yvert = € 45'000.

    Affranchissement de fortune effigie laurée 20. c. bleu fractionné verticalement oblit. Juniville 8 avril 71 sur lettre adressé au juge de paix du canton de Juniville. Un affranchissement particulièrement spectaculaire et rare avec provenance prestigieuse.
