    1862: Cover from Kathmandu to Benares, somewhat trimmed and obverse repaired, struck on reverse with NEPAUL / G.P.O. datestamp (Oct 20) in red denoting prepayment, mailed by Krishna Bahadur, brother of the Prime Minister / Maharaja Jang Bahadur with wonderful trilingual circular negative seal of sender in black and Benares arrival cds (Oct 26) in red alongside. Possibly sent under Official auspices or stamp removed.
