    1853: Large part cover from Fokshani to Leovo, Bessarabia, mailed at the Russian Post Office and struck on reverse with superb strike of two line dated FOKSHANI / 27 NOVEMBER 1853 handstamp (Tchilinghirian unrecorded, Dobin fig. 63-1-02) in black. The cover with rastel punches for disinfection but no cachet evident. A wonderful example of one of the rarest Russian Levant & Romanian pre-stamp postmarks.
