    1826: Entire letter addressed to the Baron de Corten, General in the 1st Regiment of Swiss Guards in Paris, struck with "SION" despatch in black (Winkler 3886) and framed "Suisse / Par / Pontarlier" entry marking (Van Der Linden fig. 2691) on front. Paris arrival (Aug 8) in red  and struck with superb "DEBOURSÉS / BAU. DE LA COUR" in red. Rare and very fine.
