    1779 (Nov 8): Entire letter from Neuwied (near Coblenz) to Captain Poult in Schmid's Grisons Regiment, at garrison in Vlissingen, endorsed on despatch "de Neuwied" in manuscript and at lower left "frco. Cologne", with "XIII" stuyvers due in red crayon and rare usage of "BOZ" displaying well on reverse (Bergen op Zoom). Note: A similar cover is illustrated in Adema "Netherlands Mail in Times of Turmoil" on page37. Adema's illustrated cover does not bear the "de Neuwied" despatch and did not travel via Bergen Op Zoom.
