1879/81: Postal reorganisation covers (2) with 1879 usage from Kathmandu to Dailekh with manuscript "Mahasul Chukti 1 anna" (postage fee paid) and struck with "Nepal" cds (July 3) and arrival of Dailekh in black - the earliest recorded usage; and 1881 entire letter with manuscript "Mahasul Chukti 11" (2 pice = ½ anna) mailed from Jaleswar to Kathmandu, just two months before the earliest stamped cover. 1955: India 1 r. deep dull green, a used block of four cancelled by the sole recorded example of the "INDIAN EMBASSY (NEPAL) / PAR" (Parcels) circular datestamp (19 Aug 1956) in black. Believed unique - most Parcels were sent registered from Nepal and thus the 'Parcels' datestamp appears never to have been put into circulation with the exception of this multiple. 1786/1943: Royal documents (11) each bearing the circular red "Lal Mohur" seal handstamp reading in Devanagri "Shri Durga" (Goddess Durga, the destroyer) and "Bawani" (female) and double edged sword. The earliest document dated May 1786 (1843 BS) with most dated in the mid to late Nineteenth century. 1934: Stunning lot, 'Proclamation of the (Autonomous) Republic', full set definitives + matching set airpost stamps in unmounted blocks of 4. Further the same set in blocks of 4, but this one nicely used (unusual!). 1920: 8 Tanka (Tranka), complete sheet of 6 on very thin pergamine-like paper, clean print, which is somewhat meagre one the left half part. The paper contains some natural inclusions and has also a natural accordion fold to the upper left corner. There is a normal pinwhole in the right margin, that originates from previous stapling of sheets. The print is printed slightly obliquely. According to Kurt H. Dahnke 'genuine and flawless'. Literatur: John Boker - Sammlung Altdeutschland Hannover Preussen, alle 18 Köhler-Auktionen in den fünf Luxusbänden, die nach den Auktionen vom Auktionshaus Köhler hergestellt wurden. Dafür wurden die Kataloge auseinandergenommen und nach Staaten sortiert wieder zusammengefügt und gebunden. Die Zuschlagspreise wurden in blauer Schrift hinzugedruckt. Die komplette Serie der BOKER-Altdeutschland-Versteigerung, eine der besten Sammlungen, die je existiert hat und die in diesem aufwändigen Katalogwerk dokumentiert wurde. Die 18 einzelne broschierte Auktionskataloge wurden in den Jahren 1985-87 (8 Auktionen Altdeutsche Staaten), 1991-92 (3 Auktionen Preussen) und 1997-2000 (7 Auktionen Hannover) bei Köhler versteigert. Diese Ausgabe wurde in 430 Exemplaren hergestellt. Exemplare 1-50 in Maroquinleder, Exemplare 51-430 wurden mit blauem Lederfaserstoff 'Cabra' gebunden und nummeriert.
