Leidemann & Co. / Newcastle-on-Tyne', cover is soiled and stained, has damage along base and left side with small tears top and bottom, also the top right stamp is damaged, nonetheless a very scarce registered 9 d. rate sent within the first month Russia became a member of the General Postal union in July 1875 and registered mail to Russia is unusual.
