Crosby" (Elisha Oscar Crosby) and contains an extensive letter, headed up "Washington March 19th, 1862", contains interesting historical content relating to President Abraham Lincoln; ".....Mr. Lincoln will get the nomination at the Republican Convention which assembles in Blatimore in June or I will confess that I am politically blind. 13 State Legislators have already passed resolutions favouring his re-election and think they express the voice of the people, and if nominated his election is a certainty, beyond all question.
