    JUDAICA. 1918 (August): Registered Kerensky stationery card uprated with five adhesives to the UNR tariff of 35 kopeks sent from Brailov Podolia to the Austro-Hungarian command in Vinnitsa with a receiving mark of the Kommandatur. Writing in German, the Jewish student Jakov Schpitz (Yakov Shpits) seeks a visa so that he can travel to Yalta in separately-administered Crimea to resume his university studies. The writer died or was killed in Kyiv in 1941. Detailed historical narrative in English included.

    1918 (Aug 29): Complete Parcel card, bearing on front and reverse a multiple franking with 89x 10 k. & 18x 15 k. Arms in multiples tied by "OTSHERETINO EKAT." cds, sent to Semenovka. Attractive item with some minor faults as usual for such large frankings, paying correctly the 11 rub 60 k. rate from the period before Trident overprints were introduced.rnProvenance: Collection Ron Zelonka.

    1919 (April 16): Parcel card, bearing on front a multiple franking with of a block of four Arms 20 k., pair and three singles of Arms 50 k. & two examples of 10 k. on reverse, tied by "KHARKOV POSYLOTSHY" cds of the suburb P.O., sent to Riga.     1920 (June 21): Telegraphic Money Transfer Form sending 4000 rubles from KIEV 21 6 20 with BUGULMA 21 7 20 receiver on reverse. Correctly franked to 60 rubles with four revalued Ukraine General Issue 40sh and block 4 Chernihiv Tridents on 15 kop perforated Imperial Arms stamps (Bulat 216).
