Spain tied by "FRANCO / MEXICO" cds's in black. Reverse with London transit cds (Jan 27, 1872) in red and charged "4R" due upon delivery. 1866/67: Llama 20 c. brown, the left half of a vertically bisected adhesive in combination with 10 c. vermillion, both used on April 27, 1868 entire letter from Lima to Bordeaux, the adhesives tied together by LIMA cds in black. Exchange "GB / 1f90c" handstamp and French "ANGL. 29 MAI 68 AMB B CALAIS" entry cds, both in black alongside. Reverse with LONDON transit cds in red as well as French ambulant and indistinct BORDEAUX arrival cds's. A fine and fresh cover, the franking paid the rate to the port, Shipmail and further transport had to be paid by the receiver, therefore a '12' decimes due was handstruck to the obverse. Light horizontal file fold just mentioned for accuracy, a most interesting Shipmail item with a special franking, signed R. Mondolfo; cert.
