Inter-Island Postage." and prices per label, per row of 12 and per sheet. Reverse with oval framed PORT ELIZABETH despatch (March 18) and CAPE TOWN arrival (March 21) in red. First pair affected by vertical file fold and a further stamp with repaired tear, manuscript 'Lot 7' in ink at right (which rather dates the covers provenance back to the early 1900's), however despite the imperfections, a cover of great visual appeal and considerable rarity.
