1855/63: 1 d. deep rose-red on cream paper, a used sheet marginal block of four with large margins all round and of dramatic appearance on 1861 second sheet of entire letter to Cape Town; cancelled by two strikes of the CGH obliterator in black. Reverse with oval framed PORT ELIZABETH despatch (March 18) and CAPE TOWN arrival (March 21) in red.
