Reverse with 'Raithby' cds (June 25). Closed cover tears but a scarce usage to an unusual destination Gi K23 = £ 350.rnNote: HMS Invincible was Admiral Seymour's temporary flagship at the 1882 bombardment of Alexandria. She provided men for the naval brigade that was subsequently landed and she also provided men for Charles Beresford's naval brigade in the Sudan campaign of 1885. By this date she was in Asian waters on her way to China.

A very scarce stamp, despite the block in the Duke of Leinster collection (Irish National Museum, Dublin) and the block of eight original find in 1976 (R.L. 30 April 1976), this is the only block known to us,superb.
