1861 (Sept 27): Cover from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil prepaid '1/-' in red manuscript and struck with very fine "♚ / PAID / AT BUENOS AYRES" handstamp in black. Reverse, slight opening tear on flap, with double arc 'Buenos Ayres' cds (Sept 27) in black. 1865 (Oct 27): Great Britain 1857 1 d. red sstars, perf. 14, two examples used with 1862 3 d. rose and 1865 1 s. green pl. 4 on single rate 1865 cover from Buenos Aires to Warendorf, Prussia tied by four fine strikes of the "B32" obliterator in black. Reverse with single ring 'Buenos Ayres' cds (Oct 27) in black, obverse with 'London / Paid' cds (Dec 2) and circular 'PD' in red alongside 'Aus England per Aachen / Franco' transit in blue (Dec 3). 1865 (Nov 25): Great Britain 1864 1 d. red pl. 73, a single example used on large part of English language "The Standard & River Plate News" mailed from Buenos Aires to Manchester, tied by fine strike of "B32" obliterator in black. An attractive and scarce Newspaper rate usage. 1868 (Oct 27): Great Britain 1864 1 d. red pl. 146, 1865 4 d. vermilion pl.12 with closed tear and 1 s. green pl. 4 all used on 1871 cover from Buenos Aires to Stockholm, Sweden tied by two strikes of vertical "B32" obliterator in black. Double arc 'Buenos Ayres' cds on reverse (March 15) and Stockholm arrival cds (June 19), obverse with 'London / Paid' cds (June 16) and circular 'PD' in red with split rate '3d.' accountancy marking also in red. 1862 (Nov 2): Great Britain 1858/69 2 d. blue pl. 8, two examples used with 1856 6 d. lilac in a horizontal pair, on 1862 single rate cover from Buenos Aires to Paris endorsed 'Packet Anglais' tied by four strikes of the "B32" obliterator and by 'Eugenio Guion' oval sender's cachet in black. Oval 'PD' in red and 'London / Paid' cds on obverse in red. Reverse with single ring 'Buenos Ayres' cds (Nov 27) and Paris arrival cds (Jan 3, 1863). 1869 (Jan 26): Great Briain 1865 4 d. vermilion pl. 10, a horizontal pair used on 1869 cover from Buenos Aires to Toulouse, France, originally endorsed 'Par Southampton' and altered to 'Lisbonne', cancelled by "B32" obliterator. Reverse with single ring 'Buenos Ayres' cds. Underpaid and the adhesives cancelled by both red Bordeaux entry marking and by '12' décime charge marking. Toulouse arrival cds on reverse (March 6). 1872 (Aug 14): Great Britain 1867 1 s. green pl. 5, a used vertical pair on 1872 double rate cover from Buenos Aires to Cromer, Norfolk endorsed 'per Douro', tied by fine strike of vertical "B32" obliterator in black. Reverse with single ring 'Buenos Ayres' cds (Aug 14), Norwich and Cromer datestamps (Sept 14). 1867/68: Argentina 10 c. green perf. 12, a fine used example (Scott 18A) on small mourning envelope in combination with Great Britain 1864 1 d. red pl. 150 and 1858/79 2 d. blue pl. 13 all tied by three strikes of the "B32" obliterator in black. Two side flaps missing and undated but the envelope most probably contained a printed mourning announcement. Caldera, via Liverpool', franked by Argentina 1867 5 c. vermilion (Scott 20) tied by Buenos Aires cds in black (Dec 22) with apparently ignored Great Britain 1867 9 d. straw and 1 s. green pl. 4 tied in transit in London with "H" obliterators in black. 'London / Paid' transit and circular 'PD' in red on obverse (Feb 4) and Savona arrival datestamp on reverse of an attractive and unusual cover.Ausruf : 1.000 CHFZuschlag : 1.400 CHF
