Large Star, imperforate, a very fine used horizontal pair, tied to 1856 entire letter to Strathalbyn by Adelaide oval grill obliterators in black, with PAID / ADELAIDE datestamp alongside (April 2) in red. Reverse with 'Strathalbyn / South Australia' arrival datestamp (April 3) in green. Negligible file folds not affecting the superb appearance, one of the very few #1 covers with superb adhesives used prior to the first Adelaide printing being issued. An extremely rare cover. Cert.
