Da die Schwarzdrucke nur in kleiner Auflage gedruckt und die Bögen in 'Enzelproben' an den Sammler gebracht wurden, sind zusammenhängende Einheiten oder ganze Bogen sehr selten. 1945: Gemeinschaftsausgabe, kompl. Satz zu 16 Werten von 3 Gr. rötlichorange bis 5 S. schwarzviolettblau, als Vorlage-Markenheft ohne vorderen Deckel mit Sechserblocks, diese mit violettem Handstempelaufdruck SPECIMEN. Das originale, komplette Markenheft enthielt jeweils Zehnerblöcke, wobei bei allen vorhandenen Markenheftchen die rechten Viererblöcke ohne Specimen-Aufdruck entfernt und verwendet wurden. Das Heft ist daher bis auf den Deckel als komplett anzusehen, der 1 Groschenwert war zum Zeitpunkt der Produktion noch nicht vorgesehen und erschien auch als letzter Wert der Serie erst am 20. 1830 (Oct. 8): Entire letter from St. Petersburg to the Jewellery J. F. Bautte in Geneva, no despatch datestamp, transit "P. MEMEL 24 OCT." and "R" meaning Russland added in Berlin, reverse with GENEVE 4 9bre 1830" arrival datestamp. The letter was written by Maria Nesselrode (1786-1849), who served as lady in waiting to empress Elizabeth Alexeievna. She was a leading socialite in St. Petersburg society and court life, hosted an influential salon, had high positions within philanthropy, and was described as politically active through her spouse. She was married to Count Karl Robert Nesselrode, for forty years foreign minister and a leading European conservative statesman of the Holy Alliance.
