1912: Original letter (in German) from BOHDAN ZAKLINSKYJ to the editor of a philatelic journal giving detailed descriptions of "National Stamps" issued in Lemberg, Czernowitz and by the Ukrainian Radical party. Thirteen adhesives attached to the letter. The document is fragile but in excellent condition and of considerable historical interest. Imperial Russia stamp booklets for 2 r., issued in 1913 (B9 in the Standard catalogue), both incomplete. In the first booklet, 34 remaining stamps are overprinted with Kyiv IIa single handstamp applied to present tête-bêche pairs. In the second booklet, the 31 remaining stamps are overprinted with Kyiv IIgg single handstamps, inverted in each case. Both booklets are in fine condition, all the stamps unmounted mint. Parcel card (fragment) used at "KHOTIN BESS 15. 10. 18", franked with 16 Imperial Arms type stamps overprinted with Podillia Ia (including the scarcer 5 k. imperforate). This fragment is evidence for the temporary presence of Ukrainian administration in Khotin prior to the incorporation of Imperial Russia's Bessarabian territories into modern Romania. Loose stamps can be found with Khotin postmarks but this fragment is unusual.

Money Transfer Form sending 5000 r. from "BARASHI VOL 29.11.18" to Zhitomir (two receiver cancels on reverse), franked 2 x 15 k. Imperial Arms imperforate and 6 x 1 r. imperforate, all overprinted with the local trident type of Barashi in violet. There are archival punch holes, stamps have been removed from the reverse and one from the front, but most known Barashi MTFs are even more fragmentary. This may be one of the best preserved. Uninsured parcel card from "CERNIGOV 19.11.18" to Kharkiv (indistinct receiver cancel 22.11.18) charged at 3 r. 50 k. at bottom left of card, franked correctly with a single copy of the 3 r. 50 k. grey and black, overprinted with Chernihiv Type II. Neat archival punch holes on a card which is unusually fresh and attractive. The stamp is rare and unpriced in the Bulat catalogue.
