    Airmail 1919 (July 7): First Military Flight cover from Constantinople to Paris franked by France Sower 25 c. blue and Merson 1 fr. lake & green tied by framed handstamp "ARMÉES ALLIÉS EN ORIENT / POSTE AÉRIÈNNE" struck in black with "Tresor et Postes / 506" cds adjacent (July 7). Reseal Censor tape and further strike of oval "Contrôle / Par l'Authorité Militaire" on reverse with Paris arrival (July 14). The first date for carriage of civilian mail by this service.
