    1873: Stampless cover from Ismail to Corfu, Ionian Islands endorsed "Via Vienna", sent unpaid and struck with "JSMAIL" thimble cds (May 27) on despatch in blue (Kiriac fig. 549). Reverse with "GALATI" transit in black (May 28), Vienna cds, oval Triest transit and Kerkyra (Corfu) arrival. Charged at '100' lepta in manuscript and Greece Large Hermes 1868/72 20 l. blue and 80 l. carmine applied and tied by "106" dotted numeral obliterators. A few minor imperfections but an extremely scarce cover. Ex collection Sassower.rn
