    1858: 80 pa. vermilion, a fine appeariing example with just clear to minutely shaved margins all round, used on 1860 registered entire letter to Bucharest tied by framed "FRANCO / ROMAN" in blue with "ROMAN / MOLDOVA" cds at right and straight line RECEPISSE below of despatch with '40' charge adjacent (Kiriac figs. 319+282). "FOKSCHANI / MOLDOVA" Border transit cds (22/5) in blue (fig. 275) and "BUCAREST / WALACHEI" cds of arrival (May 25) also in blue (fig. 269). Closed tear on address panel not detracting from the beautiful appearance of an extemely rare entire. Ex collection Sassower.
