1856: 1 s. pale green, plate 1, Wing margin, used on cover, from Bradford to Venice, dated 6 April 1861, tied by the "107" duplex in black which has a date slug error year inverted "16", endorsed "via France", with "INSUFFICIENTLY / PREPAID" in black alongside, the "PD" mark being overstruck with a London Inland "50", both in red to signify it was not paid to destination, French transit Calais dated 8 April, the London transit to reverse with a Paris datestamp 9 April 1861 and Venice arrival 12th in black, a horizontal filing crease well clear of stamp, some wrinkles to wrapper, with just a few short perfs, otherwise a fine and scarce usage.Ausruf : 160 CHFZuschlag : nicht verkauft -
