    Overprinted at the British Residency, Bushire 1915: Registered cover to London franked on obverse with 1 ch. green & orange (Setting IIB, pos. 8), 2 ch. sepia & carmine (III, pos. 7), 3 ch. green & grey, twop examples upper stamp Setting III pos. 2, lower examples Setting IC, pos. 10), 6 ch. brown-lake & green (Setting III, pos. 5) and 9 ch. indigo-lilac & brown (IIB, pos. 4); all tied by "Bouchir (Depart)" cds's (Sept 20) in black with registration cachet at base. Reverse with 'Registered / London' arrival (Oct 13) in red. Cover faults at top and file fold but a great rarity - nearly all known Bushire cover are locally used or mailed within Persia.
