    1900/01: De La Rue Appendix sheet dated at top in manuscript "Jany 11, 1901" with imperforate Colour Trial for the 1901 1 a. value in carmine, the Flags at top handpainted in red, with pencil notations on reverse relating to the colour change for the 1 a. to be red instead of indigo to meet UPU requirements (the change also involved the 4½ a. to be blue.black instead of orange to avoid confusion with the 1899 1 a. indigo).
