Tiny corner bend and minimal stain from the handstamp showing through on reverse but not affecting the excellent appearance. A rare stamp with approximately 30 examples issued Gibbs 6A / Gi = £ 1'100.rnProvenance: Anna Barbour, daughter of Lt. Col. J.D. Mackay DSO, Governor of Mafia Island during from late 1914 to the end of July 1915. A letter from Mrs. Barbour accompanies the lot, dated Christmas 1966, donating the stamp to a Mr. L.
