    Arms of the Protectorate 1895: 2 d. black & green used with 1891/95 2 d. sea-green and vermilion in a horizontal pair, on 1896 cover to Scotland tied by BLANTYRE / BCA circular datestamps (Jan 17) in black. Reverse with TSCHINDE / BCA transit cds (Jan 29), Dumfries cds (March 1) and redirected to Kent with fine "Chislehurst / Station Office" cds of arrival (March 2). Slight flap opening tears and stain not impinging on a delightful and rare cover.
