    1886 (Feb 22): De La Rue Appendix sheet headed "Ceylon Postage Stamps, proposed scheme for the three duties to be printed from the Key Plate", with Imperforate Colour Trials (3) without value tablets: 15 c. in sage-green (accepted), 25 c. in magenta witrh pencil "use the brown" alongside (yellow-brown was utilised), and 28 c. in pale chalky blue with manuscript "use the blue-black" (slate was utilised).
