    1841: 1 d. pink envelopes (2) used in 1850 and 1857, the earlier cover mailed from Brussels to Rev'd Coleridge at Eton with 'stamp' deleted and struck with "BRUXELLES" cds of despatch in blue (Oct 12) and charged '6' pence due on arrival (the 1 d. was not credited) with Windsor cds in blue on reverse*; and 1857 envelope to Brussels from London similarly rated at '6' (décimes) to pay on arrival (Feb 11).
