Typographed from electrotypes by Samuel Calvert 1857 (Jan-Sept): Emblems 1 d. yellow-green, wmk. Large Star, imperforate, a used horizontal pair with single 4 d. dull rose, shaved to large margins, used on 1857 cover to Glasgow endorsed "per Emeu", tied by "2" barred numeral obliterators of Geelong in black. Reverse with "GEELONG / ♚ / VICTORIA" despatch datestamp (Sept 16) and obverse with 'London / Paid' arrival cds (Dec 7) in red.
