Sideface 1890/94: 2 d. blue, a single example used on 1893 cover from a Chinese merchant in Cairns (cachet on reverse) to Melbourne, Victoria; cancelled in transit at Brisbane (Jan 18) and struck with oval "LOOSE / SHIP / LETTER" with "2d." and straight line "LATE FEE" markings below all in black. Oval framed "T 2D." applied on arrival in Melbourne and franked by Victoria 1890 Postage Due 2 d. dull blue & lake (Gi D3). The cover with opening tear at top but a rare combination of instructional markings.
