1860/72: Diadem 6 d. violet, perf. 12, a used example on 1868 envelope to "the Reverend Titus Coon, Honolulu, Sandwich Islands", tied by "Sydney / NSW" duplex (May 1). Backstamped with rare large "KAWAIHAE" arrival datestamp (July 15) in black. Manuscript at left shows the letter to have been written from Bathurst on April 3.
