    Posta Europea & Lloyd mail combination 1865 (April 10): Fully paid cover from Cairo to Vienna, franked with 1864 Arms 15 s. brown, perf. 9½, two fresh and well embossed single examples, tied by light "ALEXANDRIEN 11/4" cds in black (Tranmer fig. 5). Initial despatch "POSTA EUROPEA / CAIRO / 10 APRILE 65" datestamp alongside in blue and reverse with Vienna arrival cds (9-11 Fr. WIEN 21 IV). A rare combination cover. Eichele (2010).rnNote: A fully paid cover with 1 piaster paid in cash for the Posta Europea from Cairo to Alexandria, a late service of the company which was taken over by the Egyptian postal administration in 1865.
