Austrian Levant Rates 1859c: Registered prepaid cover from Plovdiv to Roveredo, struck with "FILIPOPOLI 8/6" cds in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 868) with FRANCO and "RECOM:" in black alongside. Reverse with Quarantine handstamp, Triest transit and Roveredo arrival cds (16/6, month slug inverted). "15 / 15" soldi were paid by the sender and noted on reverse, the registration fee of '10' soldi was noted on front. A fine cash prepaid cover showing the 30 soldi rate before 1866 from Bulgaria with 15 s. for Austria and 15 s. for the Levant, the 10 s. for registration. Scarce.
