    1816 (Jan 1): Cover from Surinam to N.M. Rothschhild in London endorsed 'pr. Queen Charlotte Packet', struck with very fine "SURINAM" fleuron datestamp displaying well on flap, carried at double rate and rated '4/4d.' due upon delivery with London arrival cds on flap (March 5) in red.
