Reverse with French Post Offices 'Smyrne / Turquie' (May 11) and 'Alexandrette / Syrie' cds (May 20) and Turkey 1865 Postage Due 1 pi. brown, 2 pi. brown and vertical strip of four 5 pi. pale grey-brown all perf. 13½, individually tied by fine strikes of all-arabic framed 'Halep 81' Aleppo handstamps in blue (Michel P12Aa/P14Aa).
