1852: Waterlow 1 cent black on magenta surface coloured paper, imperforate, used example of excellent colour and appearance, slightly touched in under the 'U' of GUIANA and with hinge thin at top, lightly cancelled by part 'Demerara' cds (1853) in black. A rare stamp with somewhat harsh BPA certificate. Signed Thier (handstamped and in pencil). Cert. Matl (2005), BPA (2015) Gi = £ 4'250.

1856: Type-set by Baum & Dallas, 4 c. black on rose-carmine surface coloured paper, a superb used example signed 'E.D.W.' (Wight), lightly cancelled by 'Demerara' datestamp (SP.15.1856) in black. Minute pinhole otherwise an exceptional example of an extremely rare stamp. Signed Köhler, Thier, Proschold. Cert. Matl (2005) Gi = £ 17'000.
