    1853: 10 c. bistre, a four margined example overlapping 20 c. blue and 40 c. vermilion and three margined 1 fr. carmine, all used on 1855 entire letter from Paris to Bogotá, Colombia via London (March 2) and tied by large dotted 'grille sans fin' in black. Struck on arrival with oval framed CARTAGENA / DEBE handstamp and rate mark '1½' in red. A few minor cover faults but a rare four colour franking. Cert. Brun (2014).

    1853: 10 c. bistre, one margin touched, four margined 40 c. vermilion (faded) and very fine 1 fr. carmine, all used on 1854 cover from Paris to Medellin, Neuva Granada, Colombia tied by large dotted grill in black, Paris datestamp at right and red framed 'PD' alongside. Mailed via London, Southampton and Cartagena with red London transit cds at right (Nov 16) and struck on arrival with two oval CARTAGENA / DEBE handstamps and rate mark '1½' in red. The cover with file fold away from adhesives but a not unattractive and scarce cover. Cert. Brun (2014).

Mailed via London, Southampton and Cartagena with red London transit cds at right (April 1) and struck on arrival with oval CARTAGENA / DEBE and rate mark '3' in red.     1862: 80 c. carmine used with 1863 10 c. bistre horizontal pair on 1868 cover from Paris to Buenaventura, Colombia tied by Paris Star handstamps in black. Mailed via London (March 2) with red cds, struck in transit with rare usage of oval framed PANAMA / DEBE handstamp and framed DE ULTRAMAR also applied in Panama with '10' due mark all in red. Struck again on entry with oval SANTAMARTA / DEBE handstamp in blue, the amount due remaining the same. A fine and most appealing cover. Cert. Brun (2014).
