    1847 (Nov 21): Large part cover to Crieff, Scotland struck with framed PLN. WILHEMS / NO. 21 47 datestamp in black (Proud D1 - earliest recorded strike), framed INLAND handstamp and framed PAID (Proud PD3) above with manuscript '8d.' alongside. 'Mauritius / Post Office' datestamp at right (Nov 23) in black and further struck with INDIA LETTER / DEAL on entry in black. Reverse with London red cds and Crieff arrival (March 14, 1848). Full of character, a charming and very rare cover.

    1848: 2 d. grey-blue, latest impression, position 11 on the sheet of 12 subjects, ragged but clear to large margins all round, used on 1858 cover to Port Louis, cancelled by circular '1' numeral handstamp in black. Framed 'Mahébourg / FE 10 1858' datestamp at right and reverse with Crown Mauritius datestamp of receipt (Feb 11) in black. Partial repair to address panel well away from the adhesive, a very rare internal cover. Signed A. Diena. Cert. BPA (2008).

    1848: 2 d. grey-blue, a four margined example used on 1857 cover to Alphonse Macquet in Mahébourg cancelled by unclear circular '4' numeral handstamp in black with framed 'Pamplemousses / AU 21 1847' datestamp in black, Crown Mauritius datestamp in black (Aug 25) and faint framed 'Mahébourg' arrival datestamp. One missing side flap and sold sold 'as is / tel quel' with a De La Rue issue 6 d. green showing a clear numeral '4' cancellation. A very rare cover .

    1859: Lapirot 2 d. blue imperforate, position 3, a used example of magnificent appearance with large to enormous margins all round, lightly cancelled by dumb obliterator in black. Slight ironed bend and re-backed but a lovely space-filler. Cert. BPA (2013) Gi = £ 2'750.

    1848/1970: Collection on leaves with 1848 1 d. red on greyish paper, a delightful used example with small repairs (BPA cert 2012), further example but damaged, 1858 Britannia 4 d. green mint (3) & used, 6 d. vermilion used pair and single, 9 d. magenta unused and used (3), 1891 provisional 2 c. on 4 c. rose red study with surcharge double and surcharge inverted varieties mint and used; George V definitive 10 r. green & carmine (Gi 204/204d) with 18 examples mint and two used (Gi = £ 3'400), also 1970 imperforate Lufthansa unissued set of two and Miniature Sheet.
