    Correspondance from Belgium 1753 (March 13): Entire letter from a Captain Albertini to the Swiss Captain Poult serving in Regiment Von Planta at Maastricht, struck with good impression of straight line "NAMUR" (former Austrian Low Countries) in black, also a May 1771 entire letter from Chur (Graubünden) to the Garrison at Namur. A fine and very scarce pair.

    1771 (Feb 22): Entire letter written by Captain Poult of Schmid's Grisons Regiment at Namur to Pont au Engadine, near Chur, Grisons endorsed "fco. Francfort" at lower left and struck on despatch with straight line "NAMUR" slightly over-inked in black. Various manuscript rates noted on front panel: "12" (deleted at Cologne), "14", "15" and "18" all in red crayon. A rare and most appealing entire.

Francfort" at lower left and struck with rare straight line "NAMUR" in brown. Rated in manuscript "12" and "36" in red crayon. A rare and delightful entire.
