    1864 (Feb 23): Cover from Demerara to Ponce, Puerto Rico via St. Thomas, franked by 1862/65 2 c. orange, small inclusion at right, and 8 c. pink tied by "AO3" obliterators in black and by framed S. TOMAS handstamp of transit. Reverse with Demerara cds, British P.O. St. Thomas cds (Feb 28) and Puerto Rico arrival cds; front with manuscript "4" (pence = Inter-Island rate) and "2½" due marking applied on receipt. A rare usage and a most appealing cover.
