1858 (May 13): 10 k. brown and light-blue, imperforate, generously margined example, tied to 1858 cover from Mitau to Riga by scarce MITAU (MITABA) straight line cachet in black. German / Russian bilingual despatch mark on the reverse, and Riga Polutscheno (received) in black (May 15). A seal was removed and there are traces of cleaning, otherwise a very fine and exceptionally rare cover. Unrecorded in the Craveri census.
