    1914: Bradbury Wilkinson Imperforate Proofs (16) with fourteen fromn the pictorial definitive set (incl. unissued 8 pa.), all in unissued colour incl. 200 piastres in red-brown & claret, and 1914 Postage Due 20 pa. in deep blue and 2 pi. in iscarlet; each stamp perforated "SPECIMEN". One or two with slight marginal imperfections; probably produced for Salesman's sample books. Rare and most attractive.

The lot includes two tete-beche pairs of the 20pa yellow, as well as a fair selection of most values. A delightful accumulation to continue or break.

    1914/18: The collection of Turkey Field Post Office covers/cards (40), mostly from the Gallipoli Campaign with SAHRA POSTASI datestamps with Numbers: No. 2 used as arrival on incoming Swiss 10 c. stationery card, No. 4 as arrival on incoming card,  No. 6 used on 20 + 20 pa. stationery reply card and used on up-rated 20 pa. stationery envelopes with black Unit Censor (two examples), No. 8 used on up-rated 20 pa. stationery envelope (signed Nakri), No. 9 used on up-rated 20 pa. stationery envelope with black Unit Censor and another used as backstamp on stamped incoming cover, No. 10 used on card, No. 13 on stampless Official cover and on stamped card from the 2nd. Army at Krithia and a usage on up-rated stationery env. to Switzerland, No. 19 used on stampless cover, No. 21 (two examples - one stampless in violet another on 1914 10 pa. in black), No. 27 on 10 pa. red, and on further registered and up-rated postal stationery envelope; No. 28 on 10 pa. rose stationery card, No. 29 card with 5 pa. and 10 pa. tied in black, No. 30 on up-rated stationery card, No. 35 (three examples: on up-rated stationery envelope and on card franked 10 pa. and third example on 20 pa. stationery card, No. 39 struck in violet on stampless cover, No. 41 on up-rated stationery envelope (signed Nakri), No. 44 used on up-rated postal stationery card and on stampless card from Syria, No. 61 used on stamped cover with Unit Censor, No. 76 used on stamped cover with Unit Censor in violet, also a card mailed from the former German Battle Cruiser "Goeben", official Naval cover ex Halki Ile, 1916 cover with V Armee Feldlazaret cachet from Gallipoli, 1916 card written from Marshall Liman von Sanders cancelled AOK/5 in black etc. A remarkable collection.

    POW Mail 1915/16: Covers/cards (4) with March 1916 postcard from Ras el Tin, Egypt from Turkish POW with red Censor cachet, 1915 cover to Turkish POW at Mudros with straight line CENSORED in black and circular "Corps Expeditionnaire D'Orient" in blue; Nov 1915 cover from Banderma to Lemnos with large framed CENSORED in red and Jan 1916 card to Turkish POW on Lemnos. A scarce and unusual group.

    1921/25: Small group with covers (4) and Parcel Cards (2) all with Anatolian Govt. adhesives, with two multi-franked Parcel Cards both used from TREBIZONDE, one fanked with 100 pi. red-brown (Mi. 706), 1924 registered mixed issue registered franking with ten stamps used to Berlin, April 1921 10 pa. rose single franking on cover and large cover with 1922 50 pi. grey-blue single and two blocks of four tied by ANGORA cds's. Condition varies but a scarce group.
