    1816/37: Two entire letters from Smyrna via Constantinople to France, disinfected in Semlin SPORCA DI DENTRO E NETTO DI FUORA, incl. 1816 letter (June 28) to Marseille sent via 'Thurn and Taxis' mail to Strasbourg showing ALLEMAGNE PAR STRASBOURG arriving Marseille Aug. 17th, where it's been disinfected again with a rake, further 1837 (Nov. 10) letter to Toulon showing fine strike of italic "Purifiée à Marseille" on reverse. Unusual overland routing.

    1900-60ca.: Varied collection of 189 mostly black and white picture photo-postcards Indochina, circulated and uncirculated in Album. Representing professions, etnographic pictures, landscapes, temples etc. The focus is on the years between 1900 and 1920, but there are some quite uncurrent cards from the period after the WW2 up to 1959, in addition 85 loose cards same kind, so in total 274 cards.
