    British Post Office 1855/57: Great Britain 6 d. lilac, a fine used example tied to 1859 cover from Kingston to Penrith endorsed "p. packet", tied by fine strike of "A01" obliterator in black. "Kingston / Jamaica" despatch cds in black (Sept. 10) and carried on the RMSP "Prince" to St. Thomas were trans-shipped to the "Shannon" to Southampton. 'London / Paid' arrival cds (Oct. 2) in red also on obverse. Penrith arrival on reverse of a fine cover.

    British Post Office 1855/57: Great Britain 4 d. carmine used on 1859 entire letter from Morant Bay to Kingston endorsed "Post" in manuscript, tied by bold strike of "A59" obliterator in black, with double arc MORANT BAY / JAMAICA despatch cds on reverse (April 15 - the '5' filled in manuscript) and Kingston arrival cds of the following day. Ironed file folds but a rare and attractive entire.rnNote: The "A59" obliterator is known in use from March 1, 1859 until April 24, 1860.
