    1857: 8 sk. green, a vertical pair with clear to large margins all round, in combination with 1864/70 3 sk. lilac and 4 sk. red (Facit 5+12+13c) on 1866 cover to Paris all tied by circular "1" handstamps of Copenhagen and by part "Prusse / Forbach" transit (Sept 237) in red. Framed 'P.P.' in red below with further Forbach entry marking and Prussian credit marking '4½' in blue crayon. Reverse with Lübeck transit and Paris arrival cds. One or two minor imperfections with 3 sk. with blunted perf. at base but a very rare combination and rate with, it is believed, just two examples known. Cert. Nielsen (2004).

    1864/70: 3 s. lilac, 4 s. red and 16 s. olive used on 1867entire letter from Copenhagen to Paris, lightly tied by "1" circular numeral handstamps in black (and further cancelled by defacement crayon lines to prevent re-use). Struck with Copenhagen despatch cds (Aug 25) and framed "Utilstraekkelig / frankeret" in blue. Reverse showing 'Kiel / Hamburg' transit in black, framed "P.39" and "Affranchisement / insuffisant" applied in black and 'Prusse / Erquelines' entry marking (Aug 27), taxed on arrival with '9' décimes handstruck charge due to weight disparity between Denmark and French scales. File fold at top affects the 16 sk. but a rare usage. and a most interesting entire. Cert. Nielsen (1999).

    1864/70: 4 sk. red, a horizontal pair from 12th printing, and single 8 sk. yellow-brown, 2nd printing, used on 1870 entire letter to Bordeaux tied by "1" numeral obliterators of Copenhagen (Sept 7) with red 'PD' below. 'Danemark / Erquelines' entry marking in blue at right (Sept 10) and reverse with Bordeaux arrival cds (Sept 11). A fresh and fine entire. Cert. Nielsen (2004).

    1993/91: Card & cover on Exhibit album page, with 1883 4 ö. blue stationery card underpaid to France and taxed by Duval 1881 15 c. black on arrival in Paris; and scarce 1891 cover with 1884 20 ö. blue tied by "Charlottenlund" cds (Dec 14) with circular "T" marking in black and framed "Utilstraekkelig / frankeret" alongside: correctly franked for single weight but found to be double and charged with Duval 1881 Postage Due 60 c. black (Maury T21) cancelled by Bordeaux cds.
