    1899: King Rama V 1½ atts with the so called rejected type of head, an unused fresh and fine example. Higgins & Gage 5.rnNote: This issue was engraved and printed by Messrs. Giesecke & Devrient of Leipzig, Germany in 1897 and were not supposed to be issued, as the King was not satisfied with the portrait. Nevertheless from the 10'000 cards originally printed, 5'000 were distributed and were available for only a short time at three offices in Bangkok. The balance of the cards and the stamps with a similar design were burnt in 1903.
