    1852: ½ b. grey-blue, a fresh vertical strip of six 'con interspazio di gruppo' between the fifth and sixth stamp, primarily with huge margins, tied by diamond grill to small cover from Imola to Rimini. Straight line IMOLA handstamp on front and corresponding "9 / APRILE" arrival datestamp on reverse. Multiple touched at top, base and lower right, neverheless an extraordinary usage. Cert. Sorani (1993). Sassone not listed; strip of five on cover = € 32'500; interspazio pair = € 3'250.

    1858: 1 baj. black on green 'verde scuro', a horizontal block of ten (5 x 2) and a vertical pair, generous to touched margins, used on 1862 cover to Rome cancelled by six strikes of the barred lozenge in black with straight line MONTEFIASCONE handstamp in black and crossed to denote full payment below. Reverse with Rome arrival cds (Dec 10). Two stamps affected by vertical file fold but a splendid and rare multiple on cover. Certs. A. Diena (1969), Colla (2006) Sassone = unpriced.
