    1858: Excellent mint selection, all with large margins in fine quality: 5 pa. black (Type II) with large part og., forged 5 pa. black (Type I) with 1949 cert., 40 pa. blue (signed Todd and Schl) and 40 pa. deep blue mint with large part og. (one signed Heimbüchler), and a splendid mint horizontal pair in a deep over-inked shade on white paper (signed A. Diena) Mi = EUR 1'900+.

    1858/71: Expert's reference collection with genuine (but very defective) 1858 108 pa. used, 1862 issue with array of 30 pa. blue with much cancellation interest, Cuza 20 pa. with cancellation interest, 1866/68 issues with array of used examples with many cancelled in blue etc., condition very variable but one or two scarce items noted but with some fakes and forged cancels evident.     1872/85: Collection on leaves of Paris / Bucharest printed issues, containing cancellation study from the grill through to the circular datestamps and thimble types of towns and villages showing datestamps in black, blue and in red; the collection with 50 covers predominantly at 15 bani internal rate but with some mailed abroad, numerous pieces with scarcer cancellations shown. A marvellous group for the specialist, with many items from the Iordache exhibit shown in Vienna in 2000.

    1872/95c.: The Postal History collection (150+ covers/cards) from the Paris / Bucharest issues including Newspaper rates, Printed Matter rate (with excellent 1884 wrapper with original contents still attached franked at 3 bani), 1875 "Recepise de Inapoeri" form with Paris 10 b. blue, covers with mixed issue frankings of 1879 and 1881 issues, 1872 Paris print cover to UK with 25 b., another to Bulgaria, another to Switzerland with 10 b. and 25 b., up-rated postal stationery usages, registered usages, much cancellation interest including T.P.O.'s etc., many items signed by recognised experts; condition varies but generally fair to very fine. A most interesting collection.
