1860 (Jan 20): Magnificent cover from Paita to Lima franked by 1858 1 d. deep blue in a superb huge margined vertical pair cancelled solely by framed "VAPOR" handstamp in black. A fine and very scarce cover in excellent condition.
1859 (Jan 31): Cover from Pasco to Lima franked by fine December 1858 1 d. blue pair with large margins all round cancelled by dotted "Pasco" cancellation in black. Signed Lavalle.
1860/61: Vertical pair of 1 d. deep blue large margins for this stamp, used on August 1862 cover to Lima cancelled by straight line "Paita" handstamp in black. Lima arrival cds on reverse (Aug 17). Opinion Holcombe (1996), signed Miro and Calves.
1871: Callao-Lima-Chorillos Railway issue, scarce strip of four including paper join, full original gum and two hinge remainders Gi = £ 520 for individual stamps.
