    1863: Cover from Marseille to Patras, carried by French Paquebot "Carmel" with cds at right; franked on arrival with Large Hermes 1862/67 2nd Athens printing 2 lepta bistre brown, 10 l. orange on blued paper, 40 l. violet on blued and 80 l. carmine on rose-white paper, all with four margins and over-lapped as usual and tied by "Patras" cds's (Dec 1) on arrival. Reverse with Piraeus and Athens cds's and further Patras cds. A marvellously colourful cover in excellent condition. Cert. BPB (1998).
